The Twelve Prophets & The Messianic Hope
The Twelve Prophets & The Messianic Hope
The Twelve Prophets & The Messianic Hope
“The Twelve Prophets” (The Minor Prophets) are some of the most unread and misunderstood texts in the Scriptures, and so it is for this reason that we will commence a review of these prophecies. They are referred to as the Twelve and contain 67 chapters in total – so an exhaustive exegetical examination is not possible but we will review key excerpts which speak to the essential learnings. We will honor the words spoken to the people of first hearing and then take the meaning to its rightful place in future times. It cannot be ignored that the Twelve have a consistent and passionate message (Revival/Renewal) above and beyond other aspects of the prophecies and that they‘re principally books calling for repentance and a soon blessed hope. So the relevance for today is absolutely essential.
